Getting started
Introduction
What Crepus is, what it hides, and what it does not.
Crepus lets anyone receive SOL and SPL tokens on Solana without exposing their wallet. You share one name, like bob.sol. Every payment to it lands at a fresh one-time address that only you can find and open. To everyone else, those addresses look unrelated to each other and to you.
What Crepus hides
- Who receives. Your main wallet never appears in a payment.
- How much you receive in total. Payments are spread over addresses nobody can tie together.
- Who else pays you. A payer sees their own payment, not your history.
What it does not hide (yet)
Version 1 is a stealth-address system, not a mixer. The sender and the amount of each payment are still visible on-chain. The shielded pool planned for the Nightfall phase hides those too.
Non-custodial, immutable
Funds go straight from the sender to the one-time address. The Crepus programs never hold money, have no admin keys, and their upgrade authority is revoked after deploy.
